Vishnu Akella is a Pontiac-born, Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian whose sharp storytelling and deadpan chaos have built him a fast-growing audience online and on stage. His debut special For You (2022) was featured in The New York Times, and he followed it with Escapism (2024) and a viral crowd work project that reached millions across Instagram and TikTok. His newest release is Big Cats (2025), a comedy special filmed in Auburn Hills.

Vishnu has performed at the Netflix Is a Joke festival and has opened for Hasan Minhaj, Michelle Wolf, and Ken Jeong. He performs regularly at shows and clubs across Los Angeles, where he is developing material for his next hour.
